Women at greater risk of inheriting lung cancer

Women with a family history of lung cancer may be at greater risk of inheriting the disease than men, according to a study by Jun-Itchi Nitadori and colleagues at Wayne State University . The study looked into the health of some 102,000 Japanese men and women aged 40-69. Over the study period, nearly 800 participants developed lung cancer, particularly those who had a family history of the disease.
